The Instagram Mystery
Strange things started happening a few weeks ago - trouble logging in, the security codes never showing up on my phone (email was not an offered option), trying to change my password from a different device and the email link taking me to an error page, email from Instagram warning me my account might be disabled, etc. And of course, no actual person to talk with to resolve it, and no support email to be found except one that triggers to a Meta autoreply saying they don’t support that address any more. Sigh. I could go on, but I won’t.
Tonight I wrote a final post, and I wondered if perhaps this was simply the end of my Instagram chapter and a cue that it’s time to do more with this blog here on my site. It’s been sitting under my nose for years - once in a while I’d update the projects, but hadn’t been very consistent. As I’m sitting here typing, I find it’s really a rather nice place to be. Much more spacious.
Funny how the end of something makes us re-evaluate and pay attention differently - especially since endings of one thing are also the beginning of something else. I’m standing on the threshold right now. I’m liking the view.
Thanks for being here!

When has an ending also been a beginning for you?
