A moment of eternity
set in memory
that wanders
and weaves its way through time
this jewel
a simple leaf
singing its vibrant red song
clear and bright
a gift of beauty
awakening
the desire to share
with me
presented with sweet joy
and delight,
her soul
with shining eyes
completely present
to now.
Completely undone
am I
to receive
the wonder of
her simple offering
given with such love.
