Parenting: Navigating Goodbyes and Hellos

Goodbyes and Hellos are everywhere. How can we navigate them well? We explored that question during my new caregiving retreat created for parents at any new stage of parenting, in partnership with Grayce, a global care empowerment solution that improves employees’ lives.

For an hour, we wrote, drew, moved, reflected, used our imaginations, talked, and found new perspective together. Gentle tears surfaced, quiet healing happened. We identified and gathered the good gifts from where we’ve been to resource us for what is ahead. We practiced letting go of the rest so we’d be free to move forward.

During the design and development process, it became clear that this retreat resources us in any goodbye/hello we are currently navigating in our lives, not only in the realm of parenting. It’s also a strong and gentle guide in times of grief, a tool for finding our footing in the midst of change, and an insightful practice for preparing for a new life stage.

This 60 minute retreat, “Navigating Goodbyes and Hellos”, will be offered as one-on-one or group experiences beginning this fall. It seems there are a lot more goodbyes and hellos to navigate lately. We can walk them well - together. Please reach out if you are interested in booking for yourself or your group. Gifting is welcome too.
