A Visual Blessing
..and for my friends on mobile:
As you walk into this new year
bearing the gift of you
stepping with renewed intention
into the mystery,
May you discover
it bears your weight
and carries you closer
step by step
toward a good
yet to be imagined.
I wanted to give this blessing a visual form, so it ended up being a really WIDE piece in order to capture the sense of walking forward. In the discovery process (coming out of that cloud of mystery) there's often a space - an empty sense of free fall, of holding our breath and not being sure quite where we might land. Then we land, and are launched up and into what's next. The half of a pink dot at the far right is a hint that the path keeps going...that there is always more to discover, step by step.
