Thank You
Gratitude has a quality of overflow - of going beyond boundaries (not staying inside the eggshell, in this case). Its dynamic movement arcs toward hope, inviting us to welcome what is, and to dream of all that can be.
Beloved Soul Shelter friends,
Thank you for reaching out and trusting me with your stories this year. It’s a serious honor and privilege to walk with you in them. I grieve with you about all that emotional abuse has taken from you, and I continue to hold hope for the healing and wholeness that can yet be yours. If I could wave a big flag under your window, here's what it would be: this is not the end of the story, and certainly not the end of *your* story. Keep asking questions. Learn all you can about your situation. Keep leaning into what's life-giving. God is with you, as is every other person who has experienced what you are experiencing now. You are not alone.
You are worthy of a life without fear.
Be of good courage,
Wendy
